Grades Kinder- 8th

Choo Choo Camp: All aboard the choo choo train! Kindergarteners will have a chance to go on a behind-the-scenes tour of our museum, create a take-home train themed project, explore how trains work, participate in story-time and even take a field trip to a mini train ride!

1st - 2nd Grade
Wild West Trains: 1st & 2nd graders will explore how trains impacted the Wild West era, learn the science behind how trains function, tour the museum, create a take-home train themed project, go on a miniature train riding field trip and so much more!

3rd - 4th Grade
Junior Conductors: 3rd & 4th graders will explore the scientific and engineering principles behind how trains run, take a behind-the-scenes tour of all the museum railroad layouts, create a take-home train project, go on an educational field trip and more!

5th – 8th Grade
Junior Model Railroader Camp: 5th-8th graders get the opportunity to become model railroaders! The campers will spend a week working as a team designing, and engineering their very own fully functional model railroad layout. Their design and creation will be exhibited in the museum!
