New Museum Support Group Organization

Have you always wanted to help the San Diego Model Railroad Museum, but didn’t know quite how to go about it? Have you a skill you would like to teach others? Have you items you think would look good housed in the Museum? Do you want to share your knowledge of model railroading with others? Do you enjoy designing and building displays?

If you said ‘Yes’ to any of the above, we would love to hear from you. The Friends of the San Diego Model Railroad Museum are seeking volunteers who will help out with a multitude of projects in and around the Museum. To compensate for you efforts in helping the Museum operations run smoothly, you will be offered free Museum admission, 10% off book and video purchases and many other privileges associated with the Museum.
