The Conductors Are Here!
The Conductors, the new docent group at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum, will hold their autumn workshop on Saturday, November 3 at 10 AM in the Pacific Beach room. Our crew of volunteers leads guided tours for the public, educates children’s groups, and entertains visiting dignitaries from around the world.
We will have a hands-on demonstration of our new traveling layout, which has been a big hit all around the county during outreach presentations. We’ll also have a roundtable discussion about interesting and new features in the Museum which visitors will enjoy. And we’ll finish up with an operating session on one of the Museum’s 5 layouts, followed by lunch.
